Happy Thanksgiving! We are so grateful that you are part of our community. Thank you for caring about saving important places. May your bellies and hearts be full tomorrow! The holiday season is upon us once again, and the Historic Boulder community has been abuzz with Homes for the Holidays Tour activity! The committee has also been hard at work, with the goal of making Farmhouses in Winter the most enchanting, fun and rewarding Homes for the Holidays Tour in recent memory. The self-guided tour runs on Saturday 12/7 and Sunday 12/8, from 11am to 4pm. You are welcome to come for one day, or both. We hope you can join us! We are so excited to share 6 of Boulder's most unique agricultural, historic properties with you. They have barns and silos, chickens and goats, cows and llamas, working dairy facilities, wagon rides and more! The tour also gives us the chance to support three local working farmers/growers: Long's Iris Gardens, Light Root Community Farm and Summerdog Farm. You also won't want to miss out on the holiday décor competition, artisan shopping, live performances, and food trucks.

Local artists include:  - Anne Gifford, fine art  - Rebecca Harris, fine art  - Amanda Kremer, knitwear designs  - Wandering Jewel, jewelry

With live performances by:  - Shanna In A Dress, solo artist  - Twisted Strings, ukulele group  - Fully Diminished Mouse, jazz ensemble  - Naturally Blonde, 30’s and 40’s duet group  - Robert Aguilar, clarinet  - Amanda Jensen, flute

Food trucks include:   - Allegro Coffee  - The Bamboo Skewer  - Better Off Fed  - Barbed Wire Reef  - Eats and Sweets  - Sweet Combforts

Business Member Spotlight: Floral Partners Please take a moment to recognize our amazing floral partners, whose donated designs create the magical winter backdrop for our Homes for the Holidays Tour. We all know that many people's favorite part of the tour is the stunning décor. That's because our floral partners are some of the best in Boulder. This year, cast a vote for your favorite design on the tour, and get entered to win a prize from Bulldog Yoga.

Boulder Blooms: Congratulations are in order for this team! They just opened their new downtown store at The Farmstand on Arapahoe. Even with all this on their plates, they enthusiastically signed up for the décor competition - We can't wait to see what they create! Stop by to do some holiday shopping, and pick up tickets to Homes for the Holidays. Boulder Gardens: Consistently one of Boulder's top-rated florists, it's easy to see that this team really knows what they're doing. Mary Beth (aka The Beast) may be only 5'1", but her design will pack a big punch. Stop by their store for holiday arrangements and tickets to Homes for the Holidays! Juniper & Twine: In a relatively short amount of time, this floral team has really proven themselves to be a local favorite. With a lively Instagram account and a Pinterest-worthy storefront, it's easy to see why. Their design is sure to stun - we know they have some amazing talent up their sleeves! Kim Dunning with Coldwell Banker Residential: As an Historic Boulder Board Member and  former owner of Pearl Street's West End Gardener, Kim has been a huge part of the Homes for the Holidays Tour for many years. This time, she gets to showcase her talents as a formidable contestant in the décor competition! Petals by Pedal: This fun new floral shop and small events company is run by an historian-turned-flower-farmer, Jennifer. We knew she'd be the perfect fit for the tour. She's definitely going to give the competition a run for their money! Check out her adorable Instagram. Sturtz & Copeland: Our oldest Homes for the Holidays partner, this team has been a staple in the tour for many years. Their designs are always top notch - some say they are the ones to beat in the competition! Visit their store for holiday shopping, and pick up tickets to Homes for the Holidays. Good luck to all our floral partners in the décor competition at the Homes for the Holidays Tour!

Call for Volunteers! We are still in need of volunteers for the Homes for the Holidays tour. If you're interested in helping out, please sign up online here. Don't forget - being a volunteer earns you free entry to the tour!
